An elderly man from Thamesford, Ontario, who was 87 years old, was reportedly the victim of an accident that took place early on Tuesday morning in Oxford County, Ontario. According to the police, the incident took place in the early morning hours.

At approximately 10:55 a.m. on Tuesday, Zorra Township police received a call of a crash involving a single car on County Road 119. The Oxford County OPP noted in a press statement that they were made aware of the event and that they were made aware of it by Zorra Township police.

The findings of the investigation revealed that the vehicle had off the roadway and crashed into a tree after losing control of its speed.

The driver was brought to the hospital in an attempt to save his life, but his injuries were too severe, and he passed away while he was there.
